This 1999 Ingersoll Rand 185 tow-behind compressor had low hours and had been well maintained. Years outside had still left it with peeling paint and rust across the sheet metal. The new owner wanted the outside to match the machine underneath.

It still had its factory paint and decals and straight panels. Rust had started wherever moisture got under the coating, and it wasn’t going to stop there.

We Brought the Blast Rig to the Customer

We brought our mobile rig to the owner and blasted rust and old paint from the seams, latches, and body lines. That left clean metal with a profile for the primer to grip.
